LetUsHelpNow Foundation has identified funding for the catch-up and tuition classes at care homes as the top priority. In 2024, LetUsHelpNow is providing funding for ten Upcountry care homes for catch-up and tuition classes. This will provide fees and honorariums for teachers and volunteers to come to the care homes and teach the classes.
This is a pilot initiative. Once we finalize and agree on the outputs and assessment, we will transfer the funds every three months. A key measure will be the student's formal assessment from the school (e.g report cards). The effectiveness of the pilot project will be evaluated at the end of the year.
In our second year, LetUsHelpNow Foundation was able to make meaningful changes in the lives of children and elders through care homes and support networks. Through this annual report, we are transparently sharing how, as a small team with limited resources, we accomplished our work.
