Three Computers for Dharisanam School for the Visually Handicapped

Dharisanam School for the Visually Handicapped (Batticaloa) has been serving the visually impaired community since 1992. Currently, 20 children are staying and studying at the school. Five teachers use braille to teach the children.  The school has sent 37 students to higher studies at the universities over the years.

The school has a computer lab, however, only one computer is currently functioning. Though there is a dedicated computer teacher, the lack of functioning computers make it difficult to teach computer skills.

The school has requested a minimum of thee additional computers to facilitate computer learning.
