Gardening and Animal Husbandry Support for Assisi Boys Home

Assisi Boys Home (Kurukkalmadam, Batticaloa) cares for 22 male children. The care homes engages the children through gardening activities. The care home would like to expand their gardening and animal husbandry activities. They are requesting assistance to repair existing chicken coops as well as purchase new ones. Further, they are requesting assistance to purchase irrigation equipment. They belive that this support will enable them to produce significant amount of their own food as well as engage the children in learning valuable life skills.
அசிசி சிறுவர் (ஆண்கள்) இல்லம்  22 ஆண் பிள்ளைகளை பாராமரித்து வருகிறார்கள். இவர்கள் இங்குள்ள பிள்ளைகளை விவசாய நடவடிக்கைகளில் ஈடுபடுத்தி வருகிறார்கள். இதன மேலும் விரிவாக்க   தங்களிடமிருக்கும் பழைய கோழிக்கூடுகளை  புனரமைக்கவும் மேலதிக கோழிகளை வாங்கவும் விவசாய நிலத்தில்  நீர்ப்பாசன உபகரணங்களை வாங்கவும் உதவி கோரியுள்ளனர். இதன் மூலம் நாளாந்த உணவுத் தேவையின் கனிசமான பங்கினை தாமே உற்பத்தி செய்ய இயலும் என நம்புகிறார்கள்.
