Specialized equipment for eleven cerebral palsy children in Jaffna

Jaffna Jaipur Centre for Disability Rehabilitation supports cerebral palsy children and their families. In collaboration with them, we contacted the families to better understand their needs. Many of these families are under economic and mental heal stresses. They struggle to meet even basic accommodations for the cerebral palsy children. For example, some children needed wheelchairs, some needed supporting chairs for washrooms etc.  Often, these need to be custom fitted. We will support obtaining these equipment for eleven children according their specific needs. Jaffna Jaipur Centre for Disability Rehabilitation will be implementing this project with the funding support of LetUsHelpNow Foundation.

Cerebral palsy மூளை முடக்குவாத நோயினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட சிறார்களின் அன்றாட வாழ்வில் எதிர்நோக்கும் சில சவால்களை நேரில் அறிந்து அவற்றில் சிலவற்றை நிவர்த்தி செய்யவுள்ளோம்.  இதன் முதற்கட்டமாக யாழ் மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள சிறார்களின் பெற்றோர்களை தொடர்புகொண்டு தேவைகளை அறிந்து கொண்டோம்.  இந்நோயினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட சிறார்களினதும் அவர்களின் குடும்பங்களும் பெரிதும் மனதளவில் பாதிக்கப்பட்டும் பொருளாதார ரீதியிலும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு இருப்பதை இன்று நேரடியாக சென்று பார்த்ததன் மூலம் அறியக்கூடியதாக இருந்தது. எம்மிடம் உதவிகோரிய பெற்றோர்கள் தங்களின் பிள்ளைகளுக்கான சக்கர நாற்காலி ஒன்றினை அல்லது மலசலகூடத்தில் அமர்வத்றகான நாற்காலிகளை கேட்டுள்ளார்கள். இவையனைத்தும் பிரத்தியோகமாக அளவெடுத்து செய்ய வேண்டியுள்ளதால் இன்று செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை நேரடியாக அவர்களின் இல்லங்களுக்கு சென்று தேவைகளை அறிந்து அதற்கான ஒழுங்குகளை செய்யவுள்ளோம். இதனை யாழ் ஜெயப்பூர் வலுவிழந்தோர் புனர்வாழ்வு நிறுவனம் முன்னெடுக்கிறது.
