Three phase electrical works Association to Empower the Special Needs Children Home, Kilinochchi
Association to Empower the Special Needs Children Home, Kilinochchi cares for 26 children. Their rented building needed to be evacuated by June. Their new building construction faced a funds shortage to be completed on time. Specifically, they needed the electricity and plumbing works completed. LetUsHelpNow has been focusing on projects improving the everyday lives of children. Considering the urgent housing situation, we provided LKR 803,545 to complete the main part of the three phase electrical works: MCB (Miniature Circuit Breakers) panel, busbar, Control Main Panel, Diagram Box and Meter Box. Other benefactors assisted with the remaining work. Today, the children are living in the new building.
Jaffna College NCGE 1975 old students joined hands in this project and contributed LKR 383,634. Contributor Sutha Haran coordinated students from Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom in this effort. Thank you to Sutha Haran and Jaffna College NCGE 1975 old students.
The budget for the July projects was LKR 803,545 The funds were donated by 121 LetUsHelpNow & Jaffna College NCGE 1975 old student contributors from Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. The receipts and thank you letters provided by the homes were shared with the donors and published online.
