Capacity Building Workshop on Inclusive Education for Hatton Zone Teachers
As a continuation to the 3-Day Comprehensive Training Workshop on Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital in January of this year, we are now helping to organize training sessions in Upcountry. These sessions will focus on teaching methodologies for students with learning difficulties, slow learners, and differently-abled children in schools within the Hatton Educational Zone.
Dr. Manjula Shanmugasundaram will conduct these sessions online over a period of three days. The Hatton Educational Zone will be responsible for the logistics, including coordinating the participating teachers and arranging the venue for the sessions.
This event is scheduled to take place in August, during the upcoming school holidays. Mrs. Nithyakala Maheswaran will participate in person to facilitate the training. Approximately 50 teachers are expected to attend these sessions directly. LetUsHelpNow Foundation will provide the funding for the three-day event, as well as the honorarium for the resource person.
இவ்வாண்டின் தை மாதத்தில் யாழ் போதனா வைத்தியசாலையில் நடைபெற்ற கருத்தரங்கின் தொடராக இம்முறை மலையக பகுதியில் கற்றன் கல்வி வலயத்குட்பட்ட பாடசாலைகளிலுள்ள கற்றல் குறைபாடு உள்ள மாணவர்கள்( Learning difficulties), மெதுவாக கற்கும் மாணவர்கள்(slow learners) மற்றும் விசேட தேவை உள்ள பிள்ளைகளுக்கு (differently abled) கற்பிக்கும் பயிற்சி முறை பற்றிய செயல்முறை வகுப்புகளை ஓழுங்குபடுத்துகிறோம். இதனை முனைவர்.மஞ்சுளா சண்முக சுந்தரம் அவர்கள் நிகழ்நிலையாக மூன்று நாட்கள் நடத்தவுள்ளார். இதற்கான ஆசிரியர்கள், அமர்வு நடைபெறும் இடம் அதற்காக ஒழுங்குகளை கற்றன் கல்வி வலயம் மேற்கொள்ளும். இந்நிகழ்வு பாடசாலைகளின் அடுத்த விடுமுறை காலமான ஆகஸ்ட் மாதத்தில் இடம் பெறவுள்ளது. இப்பயிற்சி வகுப்புக்களில் திருமதி நித்தியகலா மகேஸ்வரன் நேரடியாக பங்கேற்று அனுசரணை செய்யவுள்ளார். இப்பயிற்சி வகுப்பில் கிட்டத்தட்ட 50 ஆசிரியர்கள் நேரடியாக பங்கு பெறவுள்ளார்கள் . மூன்று நாள் நிகழ்வுக்கான நிதி மற்றும் வலுவாளர் ஊக்கத்தொகையை வழங்கவுள்ளோம்.
