The Vanni Association for Visually Handicapped, Killinochi is requesting support to provide clean drinking water filters for five war-affected, visually impaired individuals and their families in Northern and Eastern Sri Lanka. Many of these beneficiaries live with severe physical disabilities and face high risks of chronic kidney disease due to unsafe drinking water.  We have already successfully funded the first 5 units. We are now raising funds to purchase another 5 water purification units at LKR 55,000 each (totalling LKR 275,000). To ensure long-term impact, the association will directly handle the installation, regular monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of all units for these vulnerable households.
