Nuffield School for the Deaf and Blind (Kaithadi, Jaffna) is the primary institution comprehensively serving the deaf community in North and East Sri Lanka. The school has been operating since 1956, and currently serves 122 deaf, and 5 visually impaired children. Hearing impaired children face bleak educational prospects. During LetUsHelpNow Foundation’s work with the school, we learned that many children would benefit from using basic level hearing aids. Some children would need more powerful hearing aids. In phase 1, LetUeHelpNow is providing basic level hearing aids for minimum 10 children.

In our second year, LetUsHelpNow Foundation was able to make meaningful changes in the lives of children and elders through care homes and support networks. Through this annual report, we are transparently sharing how, as a small team with limited resources, we accomplished our work.
